A very scenic hilly route about halfway between Portoferraio and Porto Azzurro, near the Lacona junction, in the magnificent natural environment that the Island of Elba offers its visitors.

The golf course consists of nine holes with double tees and measures 5,144 metres with a par of 68. Among the most interesting holes is number 2, a 197-metre par 3, downhill and always with a cross wind. The out of bounds course runs to the right up to 40 metres from the green and to the rear, consisting of the local road. Four bunkers are ready to stop low, clipped balls.

Difficult hole number 8: dog-leg to the right, uphill, against the wind, with out-of-bounds on the right side and three rows of eucalyptus trees preventing the recovery of oversized shots.

The green is gently sloping, relatively narrow and protected in front by three large bunkers. A fourth bunker is placed to the right of the green: a very punishing shot to the green for those who hit its right edge as they risk going out of bounds.

The entire course winds its way through woods of holm oaks, maritime pines and eucalyptus. The scents in the air, the silence, the birds in the Elba Nature Park, the view of the gulfs and the view of the Elban hinterland frame a game that is both interesting and challenging.
