Elba Island
Elba offers numerous opportunities to practice sports in contact with nature. One of the most interesting sports to do on Elba is certainly Free Climbing or rock climbing, for example along the granite cliffs on the western side or on the unspoilt Costa dei Gabbiani on the south-eastern side of the island.
From Fetovaia to Sant’Andrea, passing by Monte Capanne, there are many areas where this beautiful sport can be practised. There are routes suitable both for experienced climbers and for those with little experience who want to try safer routes.
There are also routes for climbers on the eastern side, especially along the Costa dei Gabbiani, in the municipality of Capoliveri.
